Biography

Camrud Design is owned and operated as a hands-on designer project by Jon Camrud.

I have always been creative and when faced with earning a living, I decided on Architecture! After earning degrees in Business, Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Architecture at North Dakota State University, I relocated to Colorado, to work with the Denver Technological Center Executive Offices (DTC), performing architectural reviews and working in the marketing department.

Using a newer computer called a MacIntosh, I quickly became fascinated with computer illustration, learning all the graphics software in a short time. Desiring more creative work, I left DTC in 1996 to create graphics full-time with my own business. I love what I do and still enjoy experimenting with software capabilities.

My design philosophy is to please everyone all of the time! But seriously, I want to help make my clients successful, with an image that garners respect in the marketplace. My goal is to make each project I design creative, not just a knock-off of current trends.
